Sitting proudly across from Lakeview Beach with its magnificent view of Lake Erie sunsets! Additionally, enjoy view of the historic lighthouse fondly known as the "Jewel of the Port", its companion beacon, original fountain and its evening colored water displays and be sure to stroll through the historic rose garden, as well as visit the newly reconstructed beach bathhouse that sits on the original foundation remaining from the tornado of 1924. And, of course, don't miss the opportunity to relish a cup of java as your toes meet the sand and the waves at Lakeview Beach!
Ms. Kucirek acquired the original property in 2003 after failing in love with the open airiness of the surrounding parks and magnificent full beach view. She has been happy to share the home and realize her dream of opening a B&B at Lakeview Beach. Subsequently she acquired the adjacent home, A Beach Cottage, and is excited to continue to provide a home away from home to groups both big and small, now with the transition of the Beacon B&B. Reserve now!

Summary: This house, with its four bedrooms, was perfect for my 10 person family attending a celebration of life! Across the street from Lakeview Park, we basked in the lake view and easy access to daily walks along the boardwalk. It was a December stay so we didn’t need any of the beach towels!?

Summary: First: know that this is an older home. With the character come some quirks, and some cracks that some may not like. But the setting is great, the kitchen is remodeled and well appointed, the host was helpful and cooperative

Summary: Our family of 10 stayed at this property this past week, and loved our time here! The location is one of the best features. A beautiful and well kept park is situated across the street, in front of the sandy beach. The neighborhood park across the side street was a great amenity. Baseball diamonds for kickball, tennis and pickleball courts kept us active. Beach volleyball was also a hit. The charming downtown in Vermilion is only 15 min to the west. A Guardians baseball game was 30 min east. My husband took advantage of the Black River bike trail and rode to his heart's content. The beds were all comfortable, and the house was clean. Kelly was wonderful to work with. She was attentive to our needs (extra tp and grabage bags). We would definitely consider returning in the future!

Summary: Beds were VERY comfy. Ceiling fans in each bedroom but not installed with full support so you can't turn them on high without major fan wobble. Rooms got uncomfortably warm (had to borrow stand fan that my son was packing up for college move out) Older house w/ creaking floors and doors. Master shower had minimal water pressure and adjusting temp was odd. Speaking of odd - Storage room at the end of hallway has glass doors -could see inside. Wish there were curtains on those glass doors! Kitchen was well equipped w/round kitchen table maybe seats 5-6. Refrigerator size/location was a challenge. Narrow walkway-had trouble getting sheet cake in the door. Large front porch was nice in the morning, but broken door handle and glass door were an issue without waking the rest of the house. House is on a busy main road with plenty of traffic through the night. Loud people on the tennis courts right next door until 10p and in early morning too. Single bathroom downstairs - motion sensor light, so if you needed a few extra minutes to do your thang in the bathroom, you had to wave or move while sitting to keep light on. Or sit in the dark! Beach towels provided were great. Overall, the house was ok. it has it positives and negatives. NOTE TO FUTURE GUESTS: All access to the house has stairs. Includes driveway. Inside house has steep stairs to bedrooms. No beds or pull-out couch on main floor. Grandparent with hip issue could not come over due to this. Disappointing.

Summary: We stayed for a few days for my daughter's birthday. We all had a blast. The home was lovely, and tastefully decorated. It was very close to the lake and we enjoyed seeing the lake from the dining room table as we ate our meals. Our host was very nice and considerate of our circumstances. Would like to book another trip in the fall, and would definitely love to stay here again!

Summary: The house is across a street and a park from the beach that has permanent signs no swimming. It’s not as close at it seems. The house has a lot of quirky things like two inch steps separating the kitchen and dining area, holes in the wall filled with toilet paper, and a bathtub without a plug that when using the shower leaked into the kitchen the floor below. The lighting is complicated to figure out and there needs to be fans in the third floor. But the owner was fast to reply and said the leaking is an occasional problem but on their list for future renovations. It would be nice to have more than half a roll of paper towels provided and more than two trash bags and more than two dishwasher pods. But we used them all and had to buy more to get by. The sheets were really soft, the pillows and beds were in great shape. The Roku on most of the TVs were really nice too. Overall we did enjoy our stay just a few quirky things.

Summary: We had a group of 9 and there was plenty of room for all of us. The house while a bit on the older side was clean and decorated nicely. Beds were all comfortable. No complaints at all and we would happily stay again.
